My Dad's Barkday

Yesterday was a special day - it was my Dad's barkday! Aroo... roo... roo...

I felt so excited, even though it was not my barkday (boo... hoo...).

My first instinct was to wake him up...

...but he's such a ‘lazy bones’!

With a little help from Missus, I had bought him a card...

... which had a cute version of me on it!

As I did not have any money to buy him a new present, I decided to give him the 'floaty balloons' which I had received on my barkday.


"So, what do you think Dad? Do you like them?"

As this was such a special occasion, we celebrated with a feast!

As usual, this was me in the kitchen worshipping the 'Lamb God'!

"Must... Resist... Temptations."

And, finally, here’s my portion!

"Happy Barkday Dad! I woof you with all my heart!"

    Dear Homer, you are such a good boy, I don't how you can resist diving into the leg of lamb on the table. No way I could just sit there. The cake looks pretty good too. I would be drooling on the B-day boy's shoe. Happy Bark Day to yer Dad.

    Wow Homer, it is a pity our human only has one barkday in a year because with those yummy food and astonishing cakes I would truly hope that he had more than one... One a month would be lovely...


    Can't you fool your Missus and change the date on the calender?

    Everything looks so deliciuos...

    My human is unable to cook anything similar to any of the things you are displaying...

    Wish you had invited me over last year when you were here... and they say that italian cousine is good? I would vote for Missus' cousine...
