Se7en!

Aroo… rooo…ROOOO!!!

Today has been fantastic! Do you want to know why?

Because it’s my BARKDAY! I am SUPER SEVEN years old today and what a day I had. I woke up to the wonderful smell of Missus baking me a cake.

Ta-da! Here’s my cake, almost completed, in the shape of a number ‘7’.

As always, I was there to lend a helping paw in the kitchen. (And if anything was to fall off the worktop, I’d be only too happy to clean up. Heheheh.)

Sadly, Missus never drops a thing… BAH!

Anyway, the cake was finally finished, resplendent with sausage trimmings and (thanks to Missus’ obsession with safaris) African wildlife creatures roaming around on top.
Of course, before I got a chance to eat my cake, I had to go through the obligatory ‘Birthday-Boy’ photoshoot…

My ‘miserable-sod’ face didn’t win me any cake slices…

…so I tried my ‘happy’ face. But still no cake…

…Maybe my ‘hungry’ face would win the humans over?

No? How about my ‘winning-smile’ face?

“For Dog’s sake! Just give me some cake!”

I even had to endure a smoochy kiss from Missus! Yucks!

We still weren’t done. One more pose with my presents around me.

Then finally, I had some cake to eat. YAY!

Of course my day wasn’t only about the cake. We also went out for a nice a walk in one of Singapore’s parks. I’ll tell you all about that in my next blog. For now I’m too busy eating cake.

Bye for now.

My Day At Marina Bay

Woof! Woof! Remember me? I don’t know why, but ever since I came to Singapore my blogging activity has become much less frequent. It must be the heat!

Anyway, it has just dawned on me that I’ve been here for over a year and I haven’t even had the courtesy to show you some of Singapore’s ‘sights’. Well, here’s a first glimpse…

…a few weeks ago, me and my humans decided to take a stroll around the Marina Bay Front.

This part of Singapore is a real ‘concrete jungle’ – but the skyline provides a booti-ful backdrop for a photo of “Me”.

Even the apartment blocks around here are something special. The complex behind me is called ‘The Sail’.

Luckily, it’s not all high-rises around the Marina. There are still plenty of trees on which I can cock my leg and leave my ‘calling card’ (hehehe).

Time to go walkies around the Marina.

Me and Dad setting-off.

Pretty soon, people started to pay attention to Me…

… in fact, it wasn’t long before I was surrounded.

As ever, the pretty ladies couldn’t resist getting a snap with Yours Truly.

Of course, it wasn’t only humans I met on my travels. There were plenty of four-legged friends to say hello to. This guy’s name is ‘Jimmy’.

We finally arrived at Singapore’s iconic ‘Merlion’.

Just time for a short breather…

… and then we headed off towards the ‘Singapore Flyer’.

Here I am in front of Singapore’s answer to the ‘London Eye’. (Copycats, hehehe)

The night started to draw-in and Missus decided to practise her night photography skills. (BTW, can you see me?)
Here’s a few of Missus’ ‘masterpieces’:

The colourful ship-shaped building in the background is the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Casino.

Here it is again, with me and Dad in the foreground…

… and again, with the ArtScience Museum on the right.

Singapore at night by ‘The Missus’.

Well folks, that’s a taste of Singapore. I’ll try to show you more of it in the future.

Cesar Millan in Singapore

As you know, I rarely ‘donate’ my valuable blog space to anything other than me, or other dogs. With the exception of a few postings by the Missus, you’ll seldom see humans on these pages.

This time, however, I am prepared to break my ‘Golden’ rule. The reason…

The world famous ‘Dog Whisperer’, Cesar Millan, is paying a visit to Singapore! Yay!

Missus and Dad couldn’t miss the opportunity to go along and hear what Cesar had to say.

They tell me that he didn’t disappoint…

… he was charming, knowledgeable and, at times, very funny.

I just hope he wasn’t talking about me – I’m not a ‘problem’ dog!

Once Cesar had finished his talk and Q&A session, he patiently signed autographs for members of the audience.

Missus, very cheekily, took the opportunity to get her photo taken along with Dad and Cesar.

Hail Cesar!
