Homer's Christmas 2009

Usually my humans make a big effort when it comes to Christmas celebrations. Check out how we spent our last Christmas in Holland and the year before that in China. This year however, because we are still living in ‘temporary’ accomodation, we had to scale down the festivities. That’s not to say that we still didn’t follow some traditions...

Ta –da! Here’s our (very small) Christmas tree with my presents underneath...

... and here I am posing with the tree, the presents and my Christmas cards. As you can see, I’ve got a ‘frosty face’ to match the cold weather outside.

As usual, Missus did not disappoint with the Christmas lunch.

And here’s my portion.

Slobber... I can’t wait to get tucked in.

Finally, here I am with all of my Christmas presents.

Merry Christmas everyone. Buon Natale.

Christmas Cards - 2009

I've sent so many Christmas cards this year and I hope you've all received one. For the doggies (and humans) who haven't yet received my card, here's a special one for you.

Also, a big thank you to all those who have sent such fantastic cards to me...

Aren't they booti-ful!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Buon Natale!

I Dream of Africa - The Maasai

This is going to be the last blog in my humans’ “I Dream of Africa” series. During their trip, my humans took much to meet some wonderful Maasai people. Here are some of the photos that they took during their encounter.

I Dream of Africa - The Great Migration

Sorry folks, again! The humans are still rambling on about their Safari trip (and are hijacking my blog!).

Apparently, they were visiting the Serengeti to witness the 'Migration'. Here’s some more of their snaps.

I Dream of Africa - The Others

Sigh... I’m still giving up my precious blog space for my humans’ holiday snaps.

Here are some more photos of some of the wacky looking animals they encountered in the Serengeti.

I Dream of Africa - Big Cats

OK folks, I’m still giving up my blog to my humans and their adventures on Safari. Apparently, in the pictures below, they have left Ngorongoro and arrived in the Serengeti...

The rest of the pictures in this blog are dedicated to the Cat Family. I know that dogs aren’t traditionally supposed to like cats. However, I have to admit that I have a soft spot for them myself. (I’m not sure I’d get along with these guys though!).

First, here’s some leopards...

This baby leopard looks like a lot of fun.

Of course, I don’t need to introduce the lions...

Finally, here’re some photos of the cheetahs of the Serengeti.

After a long day of watching the big cats devouring their prey, Missus and Dad were both ready for a snack of their own...

... here they are enjoying their traditional Safari ‘sundowners’.

Missus and Dad. I guess this is why they call it ‘sundowners’. Booti-ful!
