Homer's Happy Christmas

It’s Christmas day everybody! I’ve had a great day and I just wanted to share some of my festive photos with you.

I’ve received a few more cards since I last blogged (Thanks again!) Here’s the final display above the fireplace. On the bottom are my humans’ cards. (Tsk! Pathetic!)

Whilst preparing the Christmas lunch, we came across some weird looking vegetables. Look at this carrot!

Look at the booti-ful turkey which Missus cooked for us.

Man, I couldn’t wait to get my fangs into that bird. Droooooool... I spent the whole morning in the kitchen worshipping the ‘Turkey God’.

Here’s a snap of our Christmas lunch. It was booti-ful...

... and here’s my helping. (It doesn’t look much, but I had four servings!)

After lunch, we opened our presents. Here’s a photo of me with all of the gifts under the Christmas tree.

I got Dad a new hat. I should have known that Missus would make me wear it for a photo–opportunity.

Look at all my presents. They were great and I was so happy!

I even got some special doggy Christmas bonbons.

Merry Christmas everybody. Lots of love and waggy tails from Homer!

Dear Homer,

Your posts always make me smile. Carla and John love you soooo much that sometimes I think I get a bit jealous... they are always talking about the quality of your posts and the good humour you have... the funny and creative pictures... I don't understand! I work so hard to be a funny dog with a funny blog! Well, the truth is that you and Dino were my first inspiration. I guess you guys are my heroes. :)

A pawtastic 2009 for you, Missus and Dad! (you should hide your Dad's hat, it looks great on you! I said HIDE, not CHEW!)

Carla just loved your Missus Christmas cookies! She said they were perfect. She tried to do some this year, but they looked like abstract paintings... BOL
Please, could you email her the recipe?

Lot's of love from Pipa

Hey Homer,
Wow, whatta haul you made; on cards, presents and chow. That's pretty good tree y'all got there. We thought you'd be out skating on the canals and all like that's Hans Brinker guy. We like your card display, especially that one at the bottom of the top of the fireplace; just right of center. It looks like a magnificent card it's so colorful and with so many happy faces on it. Who sent yoy that one?
We send you and the mom and dad our best wishes and our hopes that you have a happy and prosperous New Year.

HAP HAP NEW YEAR! I'm mot preggers yet but will very soon. Met my husband already but not sure if I like him much. Actually, I prefer the boys in the hood like the ones in the streets than the ones that are the same breed as me & other Pedigree gents. Seriously! I am not kidding. But ho well. Whatever it is, we are excited about it. My husband is kinda handsome, sort of.
