Last night was my first experience of welcoming in the New Year in the Netherlands. I had thought that it would be a quiet night with me and my humans. How wrong I was. The Dutch celebrate the occasion with a ‘big bang’ and there were fireworks going off everywhere. Here’s a short video of me admiring the booti-ful spectacle. (The quality is not that fantastic but it’s still watchable).
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Woof!

WOW! What a great view of the fireworks you had from your house. We think that the display was beautiful but, unfortunately, we don't like the noise. It's great when you can turn down the volume. There were lots of bottle rockets in our heighborhood last night so our Dad turned up the radio music so it didn't bother Sophie as much. Have a great 2009.

You are such a good boy to sit quietly and admire the loud lights bursting. When the garbage peeps come, I warn them off. Any loud noises and my barkometer just lets loose. They look beautiful! Happy New Year!

I'm just like you, I get to like the training part IF there are LOTS of treats envolved. I'm crazy about food. Actually, it is my favourite thing. I think I liked classes pretty much. We had loads of fun. At the end, I was sooooo tired. The trainer is awsome, he really knows about dogs. I wish you could come an see (and then play a lot with me!)

Nice fireworks! Mummy and I were on our walks on new year's eve when we saw fireworks going off in our neighbourhood. It was great!
