Woof!
I had a fabulous weekend. My humans and I were out exploring the little town which we recently moved to. It’s called Lodi. Come, let me show you around.
We have a big field right at the back of our house and sometimes we go there for my regular walkies.
It happened to be a gorgeous day with the sun shining and a clear blue sky.
Me and Dad took a break from the walk to admire the scenery.
As we went further, we came across this place which houses at least nine dogs – probably more. Some of them are adopted. Man, you should see the amount of space they have to themselves. It is HUGE!
The one on the right reminds me of my canine blogging friend, Nigel. (Except this ‘Nigel’ has lots more hair).
Anyway, we continued our journey then came across this semi-underground road...
...there was a lot of colourful graffiti on the walls. I used to get spooked by the scary faces – but not anymore!
As we continued our walk, we met some nice doggy friends...
This is me in front of the River Adda which runs through the heart of Lodi. Unfortunately, the current is a bit too strong for me to go swimming in it.
Next we ventured into Lodi town for a coffee break.
...and another beautiful shot. (Although yours truly was obviously distracted for this one!).
Here’s Dad and me in front of Lodi’s duomo (cathedral). Its full name is Basilica della Vergine Assunta.
Finally, here’s Dad and me in the middle of the Piazza della Victoria.
What a great day out in my new town. I can’t wait to go exploring some more!

Hey (other) Homer,
Gee, we always thought Lodi was in California, up by San Francisco. We figure you had the name Lodi before California did. Anyway, that's a GReat tour that you took us on. Can't imagine any one place having ten dogs; boy is that insane. Hey, Credence Clearwater Revival sings about Lodi:

Oh Homer. Let me tell you, Italy makes you even more handseome. Can that be possible?
That looks like a pawsome town for a pup Homer (& your humans too!) Thanks for the tour.
Wow, how nice! Looks like a beautiful town!
What a beautiful town! You are so lucky!
Sam
Oh Homer - I am always so jealous of where you live! I think you're the most 'cultured' doggie blog friend I know! :-) What a fantastic looking town and I can see that dogs get to roam off-leash in the countryside - lucky pups!
By the way, Hsin-Yi loved the comment your Missus left about all the handsome humans they both like - she thinks she and your Missus would have a great time watching movies together - she likes all the same men! Well, except for Ralph Fiennes maybe - not so sure about him - Hsin-Yi usually likes the older actors...so yes, definitely George Clooney and also Gabriel Byrne (so mysterious!) and she also loved Harrison Ford before he went all weird and had some kind of mid-life crisis and started wearing an earring....?!?!
But yes - Hsin-Yi says Colin Firth is definitely No.1!!! He is such a gorgeous English gentleman who doesn't try hard to be sexy or anything - she loves his dimples when he smiles! :-) oooh - but Hugh Jackman too - Hsin-Yi can't really decide between them who should get the top spot!
Ooops! This is supposed to be a dog blog and it's sort of become a Human Male fan club! Sorry! :-)
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Pawsome pics, Homer!
The weather was great, too! Lately, here, we only get rain, and rain, and rain, and...more rain!

What a beautiful town and such nice neighbor pups.
Happy Easter from Augie and Ti!
Wow do you live in a nice neighborhood. Your walks must never get boring! And now that you mention it, that dog does look a little familiar! :)
