Remember I told you a few weeks ago about our trip to Lake Garda to visit my friends Lucille, Nicoletta and Marco? Well, not long afterwards we arranged to go back to meet them once more. Unfortunately, our friends weren't able to make it on the day. (Sob...sob...).
Never mind, I still managed to have a great time just playing with my humans. Here's some of the many photos taken on the day...
Luckily, Dad thought it was a great idea and he'd brought the famous 'ball of tennis' to make our game more interesting.
"Just keep swimming...just keep swimming..." |
And here I am bringing the ball of tennis back...
Unfortunately, I don't think poor Dad could carry on much longer with his throwing efforts. |
So, we called a temporary halt to our water retrieving games and I tried out some other activities, like..
During the day, Missus managed to capture me in some of my best modelling poses. Here's a sample...

Well folks, I had a fantastic time in one of my favourite places. I can't wait to get back there (and hopefully meet up with Lucille).

I can see why Lake Garda is one of your favourite places, Homer - it is absolutely stunning! Love all the portrait shots of you - I think my favourite is The Stag - although I do love that picture of you & your Mister walking in Lazise - such beautiful pavement!

Water, a ball and a retriever - ther perfect combination. It looks like you had lots of fun with your dad at the lake, and there are some great photos of you in your posed photos. I like your "distant" poets look the best.
Sending you lots of woofs,
Riley
You have an excellent personal photographer, Homer. Looks like you have both of your pawrents well trained.
We don't quite understand your harness. It looks like when you sit, it slides down almost to your elbows and binds your legs. How do you stand up again? Obviously you have no trouble running, swimming & walking with it, so it's perfectly functional. Just curious.

Hi Homer, great pictures. Looks like you certainly love to swim. Look forward to more photos. No worries, Carol.
Homer-
Thank you for taking us on a most excellent adventure. You are a dog of a million faces.
