Missus Belated Birthday Present

Remember how I told you that Dad might have forgotten Missus’ birthday this year? Well today, a strange looking van appeared outside of our gate...

“What are you doing here?”

Unable to get an answer, I went back to more interesting pastimes. “Sniff”, “Sniff’.

It turned out that Mr. Fedex had belatedly brought Missus’ birthday present from Dad. (Missus forgave Mr. Fedex for being late as he was quite ‘cute’). Tsk!

I also felt that he was ‘cute’ when he started giving me belly rubs!

“Where’s he gone?”

“What do we do now Missus?”

Missus decided that it was time to start opening the ‘mysterious’ package.

The suspense was killing me. “What is it???”

Look at Missus’ face. You can tell how happy she is!

Ta da! It’s a picture of a booti-ful dog...

... Wait a minute. This isn’t any old “booti-ful dog”. It’s a fantastic portrait of ME!

We quickly took the portrait indoors for some comparisons...

Me, me and me.

My portrait and the photograph it was based upon. More on this later...

(I’ve just got to go and admire ‘myself’ now!)

Ciao.

Happy Birthday Missus

Today is a special day. It's Missus' birthday!

Here's a loving message from me to Missus...

For some reason, the celebrations were a bit more low key than usual. Of course we had the (pathetic) cake and a (pathetic) birthday card provided by Dad...

(See what I mean?)

However, the real surprise was that Dad didn't seem to get Missus any presents this year. I wonder whether he forgot...

...Or does he have something up his sleeve? Watch this space...

Calendar Boy

I don’t know if you can remember my good friend Lilly from China? If not, check out the reminders here , here and here.

I was overjoyed when I received a parcel from Lilly this morning. I was even happier when I saw what it contained...

Ta da! It’s a very special calendar from China with yours truly as the pin-up ‘calendar boy’.

The calendar even contains a few close ups of Lilly and me together.

I want to say a big thank you to Lilly (and her humans) for such a wonderful gift!

Happy New Year 2010

Happy New Year everybody!

The New Year celebrations in Milan were not quite as intense as those in Rotterdam last New Year. However, the Italians still went to town with their fireworks display. Check out the video below.

On New Year’s Day, we just stayed at home and Missus cooked a roast beef dinner.

Doesn’t it look mouth-watering?

'Drool'...

As I’m part of the family, of course I wasn’t left out. Here’s my portion...

... and here I am waiting to get tucked in.

As you can imagine, it didn’t last long. Never mind, there’s always time for a second helping.

Happy New Year!
