My New (Temporary) Home in Singapore

I know I've not been updating my blog for a while - I apologise. My humans have been busy during the last couple of weeks. Dad has been settling in to his new job and the Missus has been house hunting and stuffing her face with local food. Anyway, today I managed to get Missus to help me type out a posting about what has been happening during the past couple of weeks.

As you know, we have already been in Singapore for a month. At the moment, we are temporarily staying in a serviced apartment until we find a permanent place to stay.

Let me show you around...

Me and Dad posing outside the serviced apartments.

Our apartment may be small...

... but cosy. Here I am in my living room.

The little study table in the back is where I do my blogging. Blog! Blog! Blog!

This is my big bed. Occasionally, I allow my humans to sleep here too!

And, this is me in the guest room.

My apartment comes with a pool view too!

I spend countless hours watching the world go by...

...or just watching myself fall asleep!

Enough about my apartment, let me tell you about the wonderful friends I've made here...

...For instance, these gentlemen always pet me when they see me going for my daily walks.

And, this guy is my ardent fan. No matter how busy he is, he always finds time to get my attention. I love him.

This is me and the friendly housekeeper - She always calls me 'Puppy'! I love this nickname, it makes me feel so young! Heheheheh...

OK folks, that's a little bit about where I'm staying. I'll let you know a little bit more about my surroundings in my next post. Have a great week! Woof!

It's been 1 month already?? WOW that was fast! I like your service apartment. It may be small but it the inside of it is very nice! If I am not mistaken, isn't this the same apartment you lived in previously? What a gorgeous view you have from your apartment window. And you've met some great friends already! You are such a popular dog & I'm sure you know it.

Homer! You look like you have settled right in. I guess they don't let you swim in the pool, though, huh?

We apologize we're having to use 'Anonyomous' to post comments; Google Account won't let us sign in. We're so glad to hear from you; we were starting to worry. Looks like you're well looked after, but we bet you'll be happier when you have your own house and yard and your own furniture and familiar smells around you. Do you have a balcony at your service apartment?

Hi Homer,

It is nice to see where you are living, and I hope your family find you a nice new home so you can unpack all your toys and really settle in. For now enjoy the high life in your appartment, and see if you can get the Misses or some of your new friends to take you swimming in that pool!

Hi Homer - glad to see that you've made the Big Move safely - I'll bet your Missus is pleased to be back in the place of Yummy Food - ha! ha!

We are very impressed that there are serviced apartments that allow doggies to stay too - we didn't think Singapore (or most of Asia) would be that dogfriendly!!

By the way, I'd visited you a few times when you were back in Italy but I hadn't heard from you in AGES! I hope you're not mad at me or something? :-(

Wishing your Missus good luck with her house hunting!

Honey the Great Dane

No, we dont' have DSLR, but Mr. WD is going to buy one in July when back in the states. too expensive here. i picked it out already and all the components. now see what you did? you spurred my creativity. darn you. and cost me, err, HIM some money! LOL... but seriously, i never really considered it until you said something and now i have books and stuff all about it! another hobby.

glad you arrived safely! i'm so bummed we missed you in Italy. i'm now just about settled and ready to travel and would have loved to car trip down with the beasts...

Hi Homer!
So nice to see your post!!!
Sorry I am so late but things here with my human are always a bit crazy!
I like your service apartment, it is small but not too small!!!
I guess it is already a big one for the normal standard... space is so expensive over there!!!
How is your missus doing?
I see she can have quite a lot to eat eh?
I am so curious to know more about cousine... Your missus and Honey's missus keep on talking about the delicious food you have over there... she is damn curious to taste it... she wonders if she would like it, you know...
Is it spicy? Sweet and spicy?
She will come over you will see.. more for the food than for the tourism!!! Pity I cannot come... sigh...
And what about doggy friends... I could see you have plenty of human friends already!!!
Yesterday night I met Mattley (yes like the dog of the cartoons), a yellow labrador dude, but I did not like him, don't worry.
Still you as the best in my dreams!
Ciao, your Lucille
