I soon got settled in to my hotel room.
It had booti-ful views over the Umbrian countryside.
Once we left the hotel, I decided to take a closer look at the scenery.
Before setting-off around town, we decided to grab a quick bite to eat.
Dad’s a ‘soft-touch’, so he was happy to share.
Missus never lets me have any of her food though. Tsk!
Anyway, let me show you around Orvieto...
Like many of Italy’s towns, Orvieto is filled with quaint medieval streets and piazzas.
Do you ever get the feeling that someone is looking at you?
During our stay, we took in two of Orvieto’s most famous sights...
First, the uniquely booti-ful Duomo...
...and then the scarily deep 'St. Patrick’s Well'.
“Can I have a drink please signorina?”.
Well folks, that’s the end of my blogs from our last tour. Not to worry though, I’m already out on another exotic excursion through Italy. I’ll be back soon with the details...
