C'mon England

As most of you will know, the World Cup is currently in full swing. England will be playing against Germany in the first knock-out round later on today. Dad is English, so no prizes for guessing which team I’ll be supporting.

Chanting: England... England... England...

To show my support, I donned my England shirt...

... and this is how it looks from the back (I was trying to save a goal in the photograph.)

Of course when it comes to football, I am quite an experienced player. Here are a couple of photos taken by the paparazzi during my training session.

“Whoah... over here!”

“Pass the ball over to me!”

“On my head!”

“YIKES!”

Anyway, I hope England will do their best and win.

C'mon England!

Hi Homer,

I hope your team do well. A little known fact about me, is that although I was born and live in New Zeland, my dad has never set paw in this country! He's from England - so just for him (and you) I'll be barking for England to have a good game and do well.

Woofs,
Riley

Hi Homer! Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you!

The camera I use for the underwater shots is an Olympus Stylus 1050 SW. It was pretty reasonable, and takes great video underwater too.

Yes, we are still planning on coming your way, but probably not until mid Oct. We are debating between spending a week in one place or maybe getting on a cruise and trying to see a whole bunch in a short time. One of the cruises we were looking at started in Barcelona, then went to Monte Carlo, Pisa, Rome, Naples and Palma (I think) and then back to Barcelona. What are your thoughts?
