The Missus is always complaining that I have too many stuffed toys - and that they all stink of my drool. What a cheek - I think they smell heavenly!
Anyway, I eventually took the hint and decided to do a bit of spring cleaning. |
Here're all my buddies, ready for the 'bathtub'... |
...and voila! Here they all are 'squeaky' clean. |
Can you guess which is my favourite toy? |
Yep, my beloved football(s). |
I love to lie for hours with one stuffed in my mouth. Sometimes I actually fall asleep this way!

Homer - That's some menagerie of friends you've got !
Hi Homer,
That ball looks so comfy! My mum posted about my own smelly stuffies (check it out and see my line up - "Riley and his D.O." 20 Jan 2011) so I can relate to your experience.
I also need to add that mum has that look in her eye again, after seeing your post, and I think my friends are in for another wash today - perhaps I should start hiding them now.
Love and woofs,
Riley
Don't you wish that humans would have special smelling wash powder for the stuffies...like 'under the car seat for 6 weeks essence' or 'swampy pond parfum'..or 'stinky buried bone breeze'..keep dreamin' eh? Hope you Homerify the squeeky clean stuffies as soon as you can!!
That happens here sometimes too. It is so labor intensive to get them all smelling right again.

mango
Can you send a message to my golden, Mayzie? She needs to learn how to do laundry too! Glad your toys are clean :)
Life is good, isn't it? :-)
Oohh!! How colorful!! Look at all those toys!!
Cheers,
Maxx
We wash Monty's every two weeks and it is a dark day for him. He lays in front of the washer and moans and groans!

Oh Homer, you are too funny. Your stuffy toys are first rate and who cares if they stink. If those bipeds had the sense of smell we do, they'd smell like roses. Just like doggy hiney!!!!!!!!!!

I guessed right, Homer!
I hate when mom washes my toys. They don't smell as good anymore.
Love ya lots,
Mitch
Homer, we love all your toys. Ours are all chewed to bits and we need some more. We definitely want to see a photo of you asleep with your ball! See ya mate. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Stuffies dont last long enough here to need washing

Same situation at house with toys my two golden Ceise and zitablue, but weather here no good, waiting.

You're so good not to just jump up and steal them off of the clothesline! (We would ;-))

Wow Homer
My golden Neeli would love to see all of your woobies! She too has one favorite - a greenie man!

Oh my gosh, could you be any cuter??
What a great stuffie collection you have! I'm not allowed many stuffies, as they all seem to require emergency surgery forcing me to chew appendages off an de-stuff them.
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
i love your blog and have passed on the "Pawsome Blogger" award to you. congratulations- jesse
Can't believe your stuffies can actually survived till the first bathe. Nothing like this ever happen here, as you know.... hahaha.
