My Date with Gertie, the Supermodel

I’ve made a new friend who also lives in Coastal Rose Garden. Her name is Gertie and she’s tall and slim, just like a supermodel.

Look at Gertie’s long legs. She reminds me of Kate Moss.

Despite her supermodel looks, Gertie hasn’t always lived a glamorous life. Her human recently adopted her from a dog shelter in Hong Kong.

Last Sunday, Gertie invited me to play in her big yard. Of course I agreed, it isn’t often that I get to hang out with a supermodel.

I noticed that Gertie quickly tried to get up close to me...

...pretty soon, she was whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

Next, she tried to seduce me with a romantic meal for two. (She obviously knows my weakness!)

I was so shy and intimidated by these flirtatious advances that I lost my nerve, and ran away.

I’m a bit naive when it comes to romance. So, to change the mood, I instigated a bit of ‘ruff’ and tumble.

Anyway, Gertie and I had so much fun and I hope that we can meet up again soon.
